Welcome to Mrs. Keri's Class! I am so excited to be your teacher and cannot wait to see what all we accomplish this year!
Education
I attended Delta State University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Master's Degree in Special Education.
Experience
This is my eighth year teaching Special Education. I taught a preschool self-contained class, middle school self-contained, middle school inclusion, and am excited to be back teaching K-2 self-contained.

General Skills to Practice
*Writing and/or typing full name
*Sight Word practice - Some ways to make it fun: writing it in sand or shaving cream, typing it on computer, using alphabet magnetic letters to spell words, playing I Spy with the words
*Functional skill practice - some ideas include making easy recipes like sandwiches, opening and closing containers, helping with the laundry or cleaning, any type of life skill that would increase independence
*Scissor cutting practice, buttoning/unbuttoning practice
