The staff of Pleasant Hill Elementary strives to cultivate in children a lifelong love of learning by providing a safe, positive, and challenging environment in which children can develop the academic and social skills necessary to succeed in a diverse society.

Pleasant Hill Elementary School is located in DeSoto County, MS at 7686 Pleasant Hill Road in Olive Branch, MS. PHES is a feeder school into the DeSoto Central area schools in Southaven, MS. Our school accommodates public school students in kindergarten through fifth grade. PHES serves a demographically diverse population of students that contribute to the culture and success of our school.

The academically enriched program at Pleasant Hill Elementary offers a curriculum that includes all county and state performance standards. We provide opportunities for students to pursue a variety of interests and passions both inside and outside of the classroom. Students participate in our school wide events and clubs every year. We recognize the importance of partnering with parents and community members and offer many opportunities to stay involved in the educational process. Open houses, field trips, community guest readers, literacy and math Nights, Grandparents’ Days, and student musicals allow parents to partner in the learning processes with their children.
