Hi! I would like to begin by welcoming your child to the 2^nd grade here at PHES. My name is Mrs. Davis, and this is the start of my 13^th year teaching here at PHES. I am so excited to have your child in my class this 2022/2023 school year! I am looking forward to a year of excitement filled with learning. I was born and raised in Byhalia, Mississippi. I later moved to DeSoto County and graduated from Olive Branch High School in 2003. I have been married to Johnathan Davis for 10 years, and we have a beautiful smart daughter! Kaliyah is 9 and attends 4^th grade here at PHES! I am from a family of teachers/DeSoto County School employees. I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 2009. Go Rebels!!! I was Teacher of the Year in 2019. I also serve as a mentor for first year teachers. I am a member of the PHES PBIS (Positive Behavior Inventions and Supports) team. I am very excited about teaching your child this year and will do all I can to provide your child with the best instruction for academic success. I believe that every child is unique in his/her own way, and I am willing to go the extra mile to help your child strive for success.
